白い恋人

'白い恋人' (Shiroi Koibito) is one of the more popular confectionary produced by the Ishiya Chocolate Factory in Sapporo, Japan. It is a kind of smooth, crumbly cookie biscuit with white chocolate filling. Sounds plain and simple, but it does pack a delicious bite, with the taste and texture of both the cookie and chocolate blending well together. Many tourists visiting the chocolate factory would usually buy a box (or a few boxes) as a souvenir or to present as gifts to others.
